Minister of trade and tourism , Predrag Gluhaković visited Laktasi municipality where he had been talking with mayor of Laktasi municipality, Milovan Topolovic. Converstion theme was improving of tourism potentials of Laktasi municipality with emphasis on spa tourism and production of healthy food.

Minister Gluhaković remarked that meeting in Laktasi was very constructive having in mind that they agreed on several projects concreted which will be realized by both sides-Ministry and municipality very successfully.
„Municipality of Laktasi has got great potentials for tourism development on which we have to be proud. At the first line, there are two jewels of this municipality –Laktasi Spa and Slatina spa. On today’s meeting I draw attention to Mayor on education of local people in order to participate jointly in tourism improvement and extension of municipal touristic capacities. Having in mind the fact that we will sign Agreement on stabilization and subjection to EU , I suggested to launch workshop in September with aim to enable youth on project preparation and their applying for EU funds“, -said Mr, Gluhakovic.
He added that producing of healthy food was one of topic that was discussed because that Laktasi is recognizable municipality due to 60% of inhabitants are included in agriculture production. “
Mayor of municipality Laktasi-Milovan Topolovic expressed his conviction that projects that were topic of discussion will be realized in very near future on satisfaction of all citizens and in wider region.
„ We have to promote our potentials all together in order to present themselves all over the world as attractive touristic destination where there are natural beauties to be seen by tourists who will enjoy in it.
Spa tourism development is one of goal in Development Strategy of Laktasi municipality recognized as future key potential of municipality. Laktasi municipality strated its activity on traffic infrastructure and connection of rural areas with centre of municipality. Currently, municipality works on extension of rural roadways (to 6m) and asphalting of roadway to Slatina will be finished for about 15 days. –said Mr.Topolovic.
