Doboj, June 09, 2008 – Municipal Development Project / MDP and Center for Youth Development and Informal Education from Doboj – CORNO, have finalized a Doboj Municipality’s Youth policy Draft for 2008 – 2012, and have submitted it to municipal representatives.

According to the local administration officials, the document will be represented to the public in the following period through public discussions and it will be subjected to the municipal council members for consideration and adoption.

The Youth policy of Doboj Municipality is based on principles of human rights and freedoms, social justice and equity, in eight key areas important for youth: employment, housing policy, social policy; health policy; culture and education; sport, leisure time and youth activities, mobility, participation and information, and environment protection.

The document was drafted by municipal representatives, MDP Initiatives and CORNO within the Municipal Development Project (MDP) from Doboj.
