Stared its work from 15 of April 2007. on promotional base and it grown in public institution from culture field from January 2008. Within period from 15. of April 2007. to 31.of May 2008. , Culture centre ,,Filip Višnjić,, implemented its activities through different programs that were available and performable according to its place size and technical conditions.

Theatre activity had character available fro children and adults. 21 theater performances were shown, 9 of those for children. Special attention had performances of actors as Petar Kralj, Marko Nikolić, Milan – Lane Gutović, Ljiljana Lašić, Ljiljana Blagojević, as well as coming of Serbian National theatre from Budapest, National theatre from Šabac, Novi Sad, Jagodina, Svilajnca, Banja Luka and other theatre centre.
In this period, Gallery obtained 19 exhibitions from painting, sculpture, graphic design, folk industry, photography and science approaches fields. Important exhibitions were from: Museum of modern art Banja Luka, Museum of Herzegovina-Trebinje, Ljubomir Gajić-academis painter from Banja Luka, Natalija Cimeša academic painter from Bijeljina and Nikola Kusovac imaged critic-Beograd.
Concert activity of Ugljevik Centre covers wide spectra of stylistic fields and exponential groups. 19 concerts were held in the previous period, 4 concerts of classic music, one of jazz music, 4 concerts of ethno music, and others had pop and rock character.
Special nights were with Negativ-Beograd, Balkan Express- Budapest, Minja Subota, Beograd, jazz orchestra ,,Monsieur jacquet,, from Paris.

Within marketing activity obtained in Centre, school newsletters, organizations, associations, and also personal approaches of Ugljevik citizens had been promoted with sport, science and art character.

Area of literature originality was presented in the light of organizing of literature evenings, poet evenings and memoir inscriptions. Special guest was Pera Zubac, poet from Novi Sad.
Centre contributed in all ceremonies due to important holidays and personalities important for history of our nation.
83 programs had been realized in previous period, by gathering about 7500 visitors.

Based on mentioned indices, Culture centre ,,Filip Višnjić,, from Ugljevik, became one of regional leader in culture by presenting all these cultural activities such as gallery, theatric, literature and music events and based on opinion of many artists , it is as they said.
There is intention of people from Centre to support and help development of all art areas and culture that are coming from Ugljevik municipality, and region, by expecting also support from ministries.
