THEMATIC BOARDS Of ALVRS

New service which is on disposal to ALVRS members is thematic boards of ALVRS.

Namely, thematic boards of ALVRS are working bodies that gathering municipal and city representatives on crucial issues from local self-government competences in order to exchange of experiences and formulation of legislative and other initiatives for better position and functioning of LSG units.

Boards are closely cooperate with Presidency, on the way that dealing with issues that are going to be subject of Presidency initiative from the aspect if its domain and by stressing to Presidency what have to be subject of dialogue with central government representatives.
Boards shall make report to Presidency. They could also to send their initiatives to different state bodies independently and they are acting according to existing ministries areas or areas of RS Parliament Boards.
According to the Association Statute , boards have meetings two times per year at least.

Boards defined their work programs at the Constitutional Conference of Association Boards , precisely main issues that will be a subject of their acting.

Association Secretariat is supporting Board work, first of all Board Secretary, but in their work, domestic and foreign experts will be included too.

Board for energy efficiency

Mićo Mićić, Bijeljina municipality

Board for social policy

Nikola Kragulj, Gradiška municipality

Board for economy development

MilovanTopolović, Laktaši municipality

Board for education, culture, youth and sport issues

 

LEGAL ADVISE SERVICE

Program of capacity building of Association in BiH has got one Component to improve service provision quality when it is question about services provided by Association to its members. Association of municipalities and towns of
Republic of Srpska through its financial advice service is in position to respond on financial field questions that are coming by members. By calling association office on 055/211 885 or 055/220 270 or by sending message on email address finansije@alvrs.com or info@alvrs.com , expert on financial issues will give all effort to respond adequately.

ACTIVITIES OF TRAINERS AND EXPERTS

Association managed to form pool of trainers and experts available for association needs through previous activities and previous VNG International program. Association has got trainers :

• For training of councilors (5 trainers)
• For LED (3 trainers)
• List of external experts for legal and management issues

Trainers and experts will be used through all Association activities , starting with training of councilors, servants, but also association could provide thematic seminars, etc. It will be financed by budget planned for activities implemented in the scope of association work. It is plan to have higher level of trainers and experts engagement , because it will be more activities according to financial situation.
